philosophy

 

Our pursuit of the finest chocolate and cream inspired the mission of Queen City Pops: create the most delicious and highest quality frozen dessert we can, while strengthening the communities in which we do business. Our grade A cream comes from grass-fed Vermont Jersey cows, and our fair-trade chocolate comes from environmentally and socially conscious growers in South America. We support Vermont businesses that we love and source locally whenever we can. We do our best to make sure that the nuts, coffee and fruits that enhance our truffle pops are either grown, roasted, or produced right here in Vermont.

 

Our compostable pop sticks are made from Northern White Birch, sustainably harvested from Maine forests. Our labels are printed by Creative Labels of Vermont in Winooski, and our t-shirts are printed by Catalyst Design in Burlington. Even our business insurance comes from a local provider. We could cut costs by reaching to far away places for all of these things, but we believe that keeping business local yields greater rewards for the community and state that we call home.
